Danny May
What I value most about yoga is that it’s of great benefit to the body and mind and that those benefits continue to flow even once you’ve finished your practice. As well, yoga is so versatile and portable – I can practice inside or outside, at home or while travelling. And yoga will continue to maintain my health and strength so I’ll be able to enjoy my practice for years to come.
I became a yoga teacher because I enjoy educating people and sharing knowledge about things I’m really passionate about. It gives me great pleasure when my students find their practice satisfying and, even more so, when it makes them feel something on an emotional or spiritual level.
I chose to join the Yoga Synergy team because I find Bianca and Simon caring and inspirational teachers. The Yoga Synergy concept allows students to customize each posture to their individual strengths and weaknesses. The sequences evolve every week allowing students to build up their knowledge and confidence. And as the course progresses and you require fewer verbal instructions, the practice really begins to flow. Personally, I’m enjoying learning about Chinese martial arts from Simon who is incorporating some of these principles into his own yoga practice.
