Beverley trained as a ceramic artist and has taught the art of decorating. When she’s not practising yoga, she’s in the studio pursuing her other passion: creating functional clay ware.

“I became a teacher because I love to share my passion for my beautiful meditative practice, which combines the principles and philosophies of yoga, tai chi and qi-gong.”

I first became interested in yoga more than 25 years ago, when I first started to practise it. My involvement with yoga has grown and evolved over the years, and in 2008 I started a Dru Yoga teacher-trainer course. I graduated in 2012, then in 2013 I joined Yoga Synergy. I have also practised tai chi for the past six years, and in 2015 I completed a teacher-trainer course in the Calligraphy Health System based on the principles of qi-gong.

I became a teacher because I love to share my passion for my beautiful meditative practice, which combines the principles and philosophies of yoga, tai chi and qi-gong. The combination is quite natural, and it allows me to tailor my practice to suit my needs on the day. As a result, I feel grounded and enjoy a deep sense of calm.

My teacher and mentor recommended Yoga Synergy as somewhere I could go to deepen my practice, and I have found the Yoga Synergy philosophy really works for me. I am inspired by the knowledge and dedication of the teachers, and have benefited enormously from my Yoga Synergy practice.
