“I became interested in yoga and Pilates when I realised I’d lost touch with my body and needed some body, mind and spirit nurturing. I became a Pilates instructor because once I started to practice it, it just felt so right.”

I became interested in yoga and Pilates when I realised I’d lost touch with my body and needed some body, mind and spirit nurturing. That realisation came after a very athletic childhood – spent doing competition running and state level softball – and a busy lifestyle during my 20s, spent travelling and immersing myself into the corporate world.

I discovered that Pilates complimented and strengthened my yoga practice. Pilates was also instrumental in mending what had become a debilitating back condition.

I became a Pilates instructor because once I started to practice it, it just felt so right. After 15 years working in finance as a CPA qualified accountant for international firms, I gradually transitioned to a new career and continuous study in Pilates and yoga.

I started practising yoga at Yoga Synergy in 2000, and am thrilled to be part of the Yoga Synergy teaching team.
