Simon’s demonstration of the fire sequence is a unique combination of the Yoga Synergy method with qi-gong, an ancient Chinese exercise that uses movement with breath to manipulate energy flow in the body. It is suitable for anyone who is able to sit comfortably on the floor and get up without assistance. Some of the postures require weight bearing on the arms and the ability to balance on one leg, although these postures can be omitted if necessary. The video includes the Yoga Synergy chant, from the Bhagavad Gita. The chant helps you to understand the philosophy of yoga to inspire a safe and effective practice, and an improved approach to life. Simon also demonstrates the intermediate sequence for anyone who would like to progress with the practice.
