Starting a Daily Practice

Hi – I’m looking to cultivate a daily practice and what can happen is that I end up talking myself out of it or finding a distraction; I know that the practice will be good for me on many levels…

Are there some key aspects you suggest to help my daily practice? How long should a daily practice be 45mins, 60 mins, 90 mins? If it’s 45 mins is there a sequence you’d suggest going through?

Warm thanks,

Robin

Hi Again Robin
a short practice is best in the beginning
do what you feel good doing – that encourages you
think length without stretch
activating muscles without tension
dont over breathe or overthink
nothing should hurt either
the sequences best to do are harder to describe but we now have about 12 dvds you can choose from
from our website
perhaps the simplest shortest sequences that pretty much anyone can practice are seen on our video entitled ‘dynamic rejuvenation and relaxation’ which is available at www.yogasynergy.com or ring our office on +61 29389 7399
best wishes, simon
