Enrich your yoga practice with Simon Borg Olivier and Bianca Machliss
Take your practice to a whole new level with Yoga Synergy directors and senior teachers, Bianca Machliss and Simon Borg Olivier at this 10 day Yoga Synergy retreat held at the lush Paradise One in Byron Bay. It’s a chance to spend 11 days in a beautiful, natural bush setting, be nurtured by pure vegetarian food and, of course, to enjoy the company of a group of like-minded individuals. We hope you can join us.
There will be a morning 4 hour session and an afternoon 2 hour session that is included in your retreat where you will be practicing with our Teacher Trainees. This retreat is part of our 200h Teacher Training program – to find out more click here. The trainees will be doing an extra 5 hours per day on top of the sessions that we will all do together – if you wish to join in these extra 5 hours but not officially partake in Teacher Training please email bianca@yogasynergy.com.
At this retreat, Simon and Bianca will guide you in greater depth than is possible in class, how to use Bandha (internal locks), Kriya(purification processes), Pranayama (breath control), Mudra (energy control) and Dhyana (meditation) in your yoga practice in order to move energy around the body. You’ll be guided through classes based on the Yoga Synergy Fundamentals sequence designed to return your body and mind to a natural state of health and wellbeing. Each class will have a different emphasis and will include meditation, pranayama, flow through practice and adjustment. Bianca will teach from 13 – 18th November and Simon from 19 – 24th November.
Return to nature
This retreat is a valuable opportunity to unlock the secrets of a really effective yoga practice. As well, it’s a chance to spend 11 days in a beautiful, natural bush setting, be nurtured by pure vegetarian food and, of course, to enjoy the company of a group of like-minded individuals. We hope you can join us. Spaces are limited as first priority is given to teacher trainees. We realise that 11 days may be a bit long, so if you would like to come to either the first 5 days or last 5 days that is a possibility depending on availability.
