Simon’s demonstration of the air sequence is a unique combination of the Yoga Synergy method with qi-gong, an ancient Chinese exercise that uses movement with breath to manipulate energy flow in the body. In the introductory beginner practice, Simon completes the sequence in three minutes, demonstrating its effectiveness as a very short practice. Even if you haven’t done yoga before, you should have no trouble as long as you are reasonably healthy. No special strength or flexibility is required, as long as you can lift your arms above your head. An introductory lecture precedes the complete beginner practice and explains how to appropriately modify the postures in a way that gives maximum benefits with minimum risk.
