Description

The ‘Yoga Therapy: Therapeutic Applications of Posture, Movement and Breathing” course includes many real life cases, to show that yoga therapy is a science that varies from individual to individual and needs to be administered personally for each individual case. Filmed in front of a live audience, the cases covered were unscripted and as such give participants a real-life experience of how diverse injury – and treatment – can be, particularly for clients with a long history of ailments and illnesses. The course stresses that there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to work with the body – what works well on one person may not work well on another. This course does not qualify you to practice as a yoga therapist but intends to guide you to start to understand basic principles of how to think about and approach your yoga practice so as not to damage yourself or others. We highly recommend that anyone seeking to use Yoga Therapy as a treatment, first consult a qualified medical practitioner.

1 review for Yoga Therapy: Therapeutic Applications of Posture, Movement and Breathing

  1. 5 out of 5

I am immensely enjoying the “Yoga Therapy: Therapeutic Applications of Posture, Movement and Breathing” on-line course. Simon's knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm are remarkable. I think that Simon is a fantastic communicator and very true hearted with how he connects with people . The content is very pertinent and hands on, perhaps you could say organic. Even though I am learning on-line (suits family/work/life commitments) I feel very connected and feel very fortunate to be expanding my knowledge in such a fun, in depth way. I love saying "Simon says" when my family asks me what I learnt today! Thank you for this amazing opportunity. I would thoroughly recommend this training. Best wishes Anneliese
P.S. I also love the eating and kissing at the disco part!
